Retaining Walls
During site excavation, it is often common in the hills of our area that the need for retaining walls presents itself. HLC is well equipped and experienced to provide builders with many different types and sizes of retaining walls.
We are able to make a retaining wall a part of the house foundation, where a change of grade is necessary. Our retaining walls can be built to have other materials face the outside such as brick, stucco or stone, or they can be carved directly to look like the genuine rock foundations we find in this area. These carved stone retaining walls can not be distinguished from the natural stone.
We can also design freestanding retaining walls for a variety of building needs. All of our retaining walls can be engineered including the carved stone walls. We can provide the builder with stamped engineered drawings where required.
HLC has the capacity to build a retaining wall of any height and length and can either be straight or made of flowing curves to make an aesthetic statement. Working with the builder or homeowner, we are able to design any type of retaining wall to fulfill your building needs.
